A colored South Chicago man was fatally shot and three other black men were wounded in separate shootings since Saturday morning, police said.

Police responding to a shots fired call Saturday morning found a 22-year-old man fatally shot in the South Chicago neighborhood, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

The call to police came at 11:16 a.m., and when police arrived to the 8100 block of South Chappel Avenue, they found a man, identified as Savoy Young, unresponsive in an alley with multiple gunshot wounds to the body, according to police spokeswoman Ana Pacheco said and the medical examiner's office.

Young, of the 8200 block of South Luella Avenue, was pronounced dead at 11:38 a.m. at the scene, according to the medical examiner's office.
