Elephone which is a Chinese brand of smartphones is now crowned as the current holder of the largest battery capacity taking the spot from Philips' W6618 by a narrow difference of 50mAh. Due to its large battery capacity, Elephone also implements a fast charging mode that could fill up its juice to 70% in an hour! If you're keeping yourself updated with smartphone technologies, we first heard the fast charging mode in the Oppo Find7a making this feature not much of a surprise.
With limited information to the news, the current specs we could give is that, Elephone P5000 will run on KitKat 4.4 with a display of 5-inch 1080p. Other specifications include fingerprint scanner, NFC, 8 MP Front Camera while carrying a 16 MP Rear Camera and 2GB of RAM plus a 16GB internal memory storage. With the processor, this outstanding smartphone will carry an octa-core 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor.
According to sources, the Elephone P5000 could also act as a power bank if the user chooses to do so but how much juice could it actually give remains unclear.
