San Antonio Spurs - After coming so close last year, the San Antonio Spurs didn't let the Miami Heat get close this year. Spurs dethrone Miami Heat in NBA Finals clinching their fifth NBA title in their franchise history.

 NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Manu Ginobili and Patty Mills scored 19 and 17 points off the bench, respectively, as the Spurs defeated the Heat 104-87 which also deny Miami for their third consecutive title.
