Serena Williams beats Sharapova to win record sixth Miami title. Williams won her record sixth championship in this event, 4-6, 6-3, 6-0, in what began looking like it might be an epic match or even an upset but ended up just another Serena runaway. She won the match�s last 10 consecutive games.
Sharapova has still to win in Miami after losing her fifth final. Although looking at the score, Sharapova won the first set of the match but on the second and third set it was all for Williams.
Sharapova for sure gave Williams a great match, "She definitely pushed me," Williams said.
The match turned decisively in Williams' favour when Sharapova produced two double-faults to slip 3-0 down, and there was no way back.
