COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE Internet prankster VonMar is asking fans to visit him in jail after prosecutors upgraded charges in hisNew Year's Day ransacking case.
The 24-year-old prankster, born Delvon Lamar Irving, was arrested Jan. 7after he filmed himself trashing a Gold Coast 7-Eleven, 45 E. Chicago Ave., on Jan. 1. In the video, which has more than 5 million views, VonMar and a pal taunt store clerks, jump on merchandise and run off with a coffee urn.
Police said it wasn't hard to catch up with VonMar since he frequently filmed himself and the Alsip resident was charged with felony theft and misdemeanor damage to property.
