After the success of the film Rio Blue Sky Studio and 20th Century Fox Animation produce a sequel of the film and that is the Rio 2. The film is directed by Carlos Saldanha same director of the film and Distributed by 20th Century Fox.The cast are Jesse Eisenberg as Tyler Blu, Anne Hathaway as Jewel, Leslie Mann as Linda Gunderson, Jemaine Clement as Nigel, George Lopez as Rafael, Jamie Foxx as Nico, will.i.am as Pedro, Rodrigo Santoro as Tulio Monteiro, Jake Austin as Fernando, Tracy Morgan as Luiz, Bebel Gilberto as Eva,Andy Garcia as Eduardo, billboard 2013 artist of the year Bruno Mars as Roberto, Kristin Chenoweth as Gabi, Rita Moreno as Mimi, Rachel Crow as Carla, Amandla Stenberg as Bia, Blu, and Jewel, Pierce Gagnon as Tiago and Natalie Morales as news anchor.
Unfortunately this will be the last film of Rio because of the died of Don Rhymer (the American screen writer and Film producer).
The movie will be see in 3D and release on March 20 in Russia, March 28 in Brazil, April 4 in UK, April 9 in France, April 11 in USA and May 28 in Japan
